Materials Team Incident Response Procedure Information
The Transportation Emergency Preparedness Program has several Model Procedures available for emergency response agencies. The Model Procedures are designed to help remedy procedural weaknesses that the agency has identified by conducting the TEPP Model Needs Assessment.
The purpose of the Hazardous Materials Team Incident Response Procedure is to provide guidance for developing an emergency response plan, as outlined in OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.120(q), for facility response. This model has been adopted and applied to work for response to transportation accidents involving radioactive material or other hazardous materials incidents.
